IMMUNSIL® is a modern natural immunostimulant containing β- glucan basis, coneflower extract and elder-berry that assist rapid adaptation of the immune system to seasonal respiratory diseases.

Direction for use of IMMUNSIL®

Ingredients: 1 capsule contains: active ingredients:
beta-glucan 200 mg, containing 80% beta-glucans 1.3 and 1.6,
purple echinacea (Echinacea purpurea) extract 100 mg,
elderberry (Sambucus nigra) extract 75 mg;
excipients: fillers: microcrystalline cellulose, calcium stearate, amorphous silicon dioxide (orisil); capsule shell: gelatin.

Recommendations for use: IMMUNSIL® is recommended as an additional source of biologically active substances of plant origin for the normalization of the functional state of the immune system, including for colds and infectious diseases. IMMUNSIL® has immunomodulatory properties and contributes to the inhibition of the development of viruses and bacteria through the activation of local and systemic immunity. IMMUNSIL® reduces the risk of viral and respiratory diseases during peak seasonal infections, prevents complications, and promotes faster recovery.

How to use and recommended daily dose: adults should take 1 capsule per day to prevent seasonal viral and other infections; 2 capsules per day to accelerate recovery and prevent the development of complications during seasonal viral infections. IMMUNSIL® should be taken during meals, while washing down with enough water.

Recommended intake course: 10-14 days. If necessary, the course can be prolonged upon the physician’s recommendation. The course of use for chronic diseases can be repeated upon the physician’s recommendation after a break of 2-3 weeks.

Beta-glucans (β-glucans) are a group of polysaccharides consisting of D-glucose monomers and are structural elements of the membrane of Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast fungi. Numerous studies have proven that beta-glucans (1.3 and 1.6) are potent natural immunomodulators. The main mechanism of action of beta-glucans is direct interaction with macrophage receptors, which activates non-specific protective mechanisms and the development of a specific immune response: activation of cytotoxic macrophages, increased production of interleukin 1 by macrophages, stimulation of T-lymphocytes, increased production of other cytokines, activation of killer cells (NK cells), increased levels of acute phase protein in serum.

Beta-glucans have anti-inflammatory properties (inhibit the synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines: interleukins 6 and 12) and enhance the synthesis of interferon. Thus, beta-glucans activate both local immunity, providing the first line of protection of the human body against microorganisms, and systemic immunity, which leads to the destruction of pathogens when they enter the body. Enhancement of immunity by beta-glucans (1.3 and 1.6) occurs without its excessive stimulation, which prevents autoimmune disorders. Beta-glucans also have a positive effect on lipid metabolism, lowering blood cholesterol and glucose levels, have antioxidant properties and contribute to the normalization of intestinal microbiome.

Purple echinacea (Echinacea purpurea) extract contains biologically active substances that stimulate a non-specific immune response, enhancing the body defences. The main biologically active ingredients of purple echinacea are caffeic acid derivatives (chicory acid and its esters), alkamides and polysaccharides, which activate mainly cellular immunity, stimulating the phagocytic activity of macrophages and granulocyte chemotaxis, promote the release of cytokines, increase the production of interleukin 1 by macrophages, accelerate the transformation of B-lymphocytes into plasma cells, and enhance antibody formation and T helper activity. Purple echinacea extract exhibits antiviral activity against influenza and herpes viruses, increases resistance to respiratory system infections.

Elderberry (Sambucus nigra) extract contains a number of biologically active substances, primarily specific anthocyanins, flavonoids, and polysaccharides. Anthocyanins and flavonoids are capable of inhibiting the 3-CL viral enzyme protease, which inhibits the activity of the virus in cells. Elderberry polysaccharides exhibit a pronounced immunostimulating effect. Biologically active substances of the extract contribute to the alleviation of symptoms of seasonal diseases and reduce their duration, have antioxidant properties, which positively affects the reduction of oxidative stress and inflammation in infectious processes. Elderberry extract has shown the greatest effectiveness in preventive use and ingestion in the initial period of viral disease.
