OVARIMEDIN® is recommended as an additional source of biologically active substances of herbal origin advisable for normalization of the functional state of the adrenal glands and reproductive organs of females due to restorative the hormone balance, in particular, by increasing the cortisol and progesterone levels, reduction of testosterone and prolactin levels. It facilitates normalization of the menstrual cycle and reduction of insulin resistance. Has anti-androgen, anti-depressant and antioxidant properties.
Common licorice extract contains glycyrrhetinic acid, which can normalize the functional state of the adrenal glands and reproductive organs of females, in particular, it increases the cortisol level (as it inhibits activity of 11β-hydrocorticosteroid dehydrogenase of the 2nd type, which transfers the active hormone cortisol in its pro-drug form – cortisone), increase progesterone level (due to renovation of the normal secretory activity of the luteinizing and follicle-stimulating hormones), reduction of testosterone (blocks 17- hydrocorticosteroid dehydrogenase enzyme). Facilitates normalization of the menstrual cycle, possesses anti-androgen, anti-depressant and general strengthening properties.
Common chaste tree extract reduces production of prolactin, eliminates hyperprolactinemia and normalizes the level of sexual hormones. The active substances of the chaste tree are: bicyclic diterpenes, that act upon dopamine D-2 receptors of hypothalamus, produce dopaminergic effect, inhibit secretion and release of prolactin. Common chaste tree extract facilitates normalization of the gonadotrophic hormones ratio, increases secretion of the luteinizing hormone. All that leads to the higher level of progesterone, which normalizes disbalance between estrogen and progesterone.
Cinnamon extract contains A-type polyphenolic polymers, procyanidines and other polyphenolic compounds such as rutin, catechin and quercitrin that reduce insulin resistance. Cinnamon extract can restore cycles and morphology of ovaries, reduce the levels of testosterone and insulin in plasma, reduce IGF-1 level and, at the same time, raise IGFBP-1 level in plasma and, also, in ovaries. It improves menstrual cycle, reinforces immunity and improves metabolism.

Direction for use of OVARIMEDIN®
Ingredients: 1 capsule contains: active ingredients:
extract of common licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) 250 mg, standardized to 20% glycyrrhizinic acid;
vitex extract (Vitex agnus-castus) 100 mg, containing not less than 0.6% aucubin and not less than 0.5% agnuside;
extract of cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia) 50 mg;
excipients: silicon dioxide (orisil), microcrystalline cellulose, calcium stearate;
excipient: gelatin (capsule shell).
Nutritional and energy value (caloric value) per 100 g of dietary supplement: proteins 15.0 g, carbohydrates 1.1 g, fats 0 g; 64.4 kcal / 269.4 kJ.

How to use and recommended daily dose: adults should take 1-2 capsules 2 times a day after meals, while washing down with enough water. Recommended intake course: 1-3 months. If necessary, the course can be repeated.

Extract of common licorice contains glycyrrhizinic acid, which has the ability to normalize the functional state of the adrenal glands and female reproductive organs, in particular increases the level of cortisol (due to inhibition of the activity of 11β-hydrocorticosteroid dehydrogenase type 2, which converts the active cortisol hormone to its inactive cortisone form), increases progesterone (due to the restoration of normal secretion of LH and FSH), and decreases the level of testosterone (blocks the enzyme 17-hydrocorticosteroid dehydrogenase).
It contributes to the normalization of the menstrual cycle, has antiandrogenic, antidepressant, and general tonic properties.
Vitex extract reduces prolactin production, eliminates hyperprolactinaemia, and normalizes sex hormone levels. Active substances of vitex, bicyclic diterpenes, acting on the dopamine D-2 receptors of the hypothalamus, have a dopaminergic effect, inhibit secretion and release of prolactin.
The vitex extract contributes to the normalization of the ratio of gonadotropic hormones and increasing the secretion of the luteinizing hormone. As a result, there is an increase in the level of progesterone, which normalizes the imbalance between estrogens and progesterone.
Cinnamon extract contains polyphenolic polymers of type A, procyanidins, and other polyphenolic compounds such as rutin, catechin, quercetin, which reduce insulin resistance.
Cinnamon extract has the ability to restore the cycle and morphology of the ovary, reduce the level of testosterone and insulin in the plasma, reduce the level of IGF-1, while increasing the level of IGFBP-1 in the plasma, as well as in the ovary. It contributes to improvement of the menstrual cycle, strengthening of the immunity, and improving metabolism.
