Direction for use of IMMUNSIL D3®

Ingredients: 1 capsule contains: active ingredients:
beta-glucan 250 mg, containing 80% of beta-glucans 1.3 and 1.6,
zinc glycinate 16.5 mg, equivalent to 5 mg of zinc,
vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) 50 µg (2,000 IU);
excipients: fillers: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, calcium stearate, amorphous silicon dioxide (orisil); capsule shell: gelatin.

Nutritional and energy value (caloric value) per 100 g of the supplement: proteins 15.0 g, carbohydrates 1.1 g, fats 0 g; 64.4 kcal / 269.4 kJ.

Recommendations for use: IMMUNSIL® D3 is recommended as an additional source of biologically active substances of plant origin, vitamin D3 and zinc in metabolic disorders caused by zinc and vitamin D3 deficiency and normalization of the functional state of the immune system, including during colds and infectious diseases. IMMUNSIL® D3 has immunomodulatory properties and contributes to the inhibition of the development of viruses and bacteria through the activation of local and systemic immunity. IMMUNSIL® D3 reduces the risk of viral and respiratory diseases during peak seasonal infections, prevents complications, and promotes faster recovery. IMMUNSIL® D3 compensates for the lack of zinc and vitamin D in the body and has a positive effect on metabolism.

How to use and recommended daily dose: adults should take 1 capsule per day during seasonal viral infections and/or vitamin D3 and zinc deficiency; 2 capsules per day to accelerate recovery and prevent the development of complications during seasonal viral infections. IMMUNSIL® D3® should be taken during meals, while washing down with enough water.

Recommended intake course: 1-3 months. If necessary, the course can be prolonged upon the physician’s recommendation.

Contraindications: individual intolerance to components, paediatric use, pregnancy and lactation, severe kidney disease, hypermagnesemia, hypercalciuria, and hypervitaminosis D3.

Special warnings and precautions for use: IMMUNSIL® D3 may be used only 2 hours after the use of tetracycline and iron-containing medicinal products. It is not recommended to take the drug concomitantly with laxatives and cardiac glycosides.

Do not exceed the specified recommended amount for daily intake.

Do not use it as a substitute for a complete diet.

Dosage form: capsules with a content of 350 mg ± 7.5%.

Storage conditions: Store in the original packaging in a dry place, protected from sunlight and out of reach of children, at a temperature from 4 °C to 25 °C.

Beta-glucans (β-glucans) are a group of polysaccharides consisting of D-glucose monomers and are structural elements of the membrane of Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast fungi. Numerous studies have proven that beta-glucans (1.3 and 1.6) are potent natural immunomodulators. The main mechanism of action of beta-glucans is direct interaction with macrophage receptors, which activates non-specific protective mechanisms and the development of a specific immune response: activation of cytotoxic macrophages, increased production of interleukin 1 by macrophages, stimulation of T-lymphocytes, increased production of other cytokines, activation of killer cells (NK cells), increased levels of acute phase protein in serum.

Beta-glucans have anti-inflammatory properties (inhibit the synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines: interleukins 6 and 12) and enhance the synthesis of interferon. Thus, beta-glucans activate both local immunity, providing the first line of protection of the human body against microorganisms, and systemic immunity, which leads to the destruction of pathogens when they enter the body. Enhancement of immunity by beta-glucans (1.3 and 1.6) occurs without its excessive stimulation, which prevents autoimmune disorders. Beta-glucans also have a positive effect on lipid metabolism, lowering blood cholesterol and glucose levels, have antioxidant properties and contribute to the normalization of intestinal microbiome.

Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is one of the key vitamins involved in the functioning of the immune system, affecting the synthesis of lymphokines, substances produced by lymphocytes, thereby ensuring the flow of immune reactions.
Vitamin D3 is involved in other processes of metabolism in the body, and also performs various functions in the human body: contributes to preservation of the normal state of the bones, contributes to the normal functioning of muscles, contributes to the normal absorption/consumption of calcium and phosphorus, contributes to the normalization of calcium in the blood, contributes to the normal state of teeth, and participates in cell division.

Zinc is one of the most important micronutrients that is part of many enzyme systems that regulate the basic processes of metabolism, namely: it is involved in the synthesis of proteins and in the metabolism of carbohydrates. Zinc contributes to the growth and development of cells, the correct functioning of the immune system and the provision of an immunological response, ambiguous vision, taste and perception of smell. It affects the preservation of normal levels of vitamin A in the blood, prolongs the time of action of insulin and facilitates its accumulation.

Zinc contributes to the improvement of male reproductive function, which is necessary for the formation of normal sperm. Zinc is necessary for normal skin function, is involved in the processes of skin regeneration, sebaceous gland secretion, nail and hair growth.
